I wanted to express how an ADHD brain feels paralyzed when overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by too many questions, thoughts, feelings, sounds, touches, being asked to do more than you can handle, being asked to say more than you can get out, feeling like you have to answer quicker than you want, not having your boundaries or needs met. How everything is swirling and loud and nothing is clear and you feel lost and alone in the oppressive noise of the dark. When the noise is more than noise, it’s just loud and all you want to do is shut it out. When the loud is too loud.
The original painting is approximately 7×10 in.
Digital file will be a pdf with no crop marks that was professionally scanned at local print shop. This version is great for printing on blank cards since there are no crop marks but can also be printed larger as a print to frame. This does not mean that the painting is from edge to edge of the paper, just that there will be no printed crop markings.
