This is a journey through depression. For anyone who’s gone through this dark journey and made their way to the other side, you know there’s a moment of change where you go from being oppressed by depression to deciding that you want to fight it. I wanted to highlight this transition, this moment of change, that is perhaps the most courageous moment of your life, when you decide that you don’t want to be a victim any longer, but actively fight for your life. Because each step you take is lighter.
